Thank you! The only time I heard your name was during The Big Bang Theory, but what you said in this talk goes beyond any TV show. Thank you for sharing and for working towards bridging the gap between depressives and the people who can’t even imagine how it feels to lose yourself and not even realize it. I’ve been through it for quite a few years as well, just realized it a few months ago. I didn’t go to a doctor, I wouldn’t even know where to find a doctor who works with depressives, especially now that I moved to Germany and barely speak any German. Finding something meaningful to do, giving yourself a purpose, that’s what I have found to help the most. Exercising, meeting people, playing with friendly animals, these are meaningless unless you give them a value. If you’re goal driven like myself, setting a big purpose (like helping as many people as possible in this lifetime) will drive your actions and will also give you the space to allow yourself to relax, enjoy life and allow the things that make you anxious to slip away. Thank you and keep doing what you do best!
